With several elite teams, notably Barcelona, showing interest in the PSG loanee, Xavi Simons looks to be a man in demand going into the summer transfer season. In fact, the Blaugranas have long since made it clear that they are interested in the 21-year-old former La Masia star, and RB Leipzig, where he is currently on loan, is also eager to keep him around for the duration of the campaign.

With RB Leipzig in Germany, the Netherlands international has had a fantastic season, contributing to 25 goals in all competitions. Even so, with Kylian Mbappe about to leave PSG, Simons is unlikely to be in the team for the upcoming campaign.
The problem is compounded by the fact that the Parisian giants value their 21-year-old treasure at approximately €60–70 million to sell him permanently. Because of this, Bayern Munich and Barcelona will both look to sign a loan agreement for the Dutchman this summer.

Xavi Simons is eager to return to Barcelona in the summer, as has already been mentioned. The Catalans’ financial predicament complicates matters, though, particularly if PSG insists on a permanent transfer rather than a loan departure. However, Barcelona must act quickly if they want to seal the deal and recruit Simons to bolster the roster for the upcoming campaign, as Bayern Munich has now entered the race as well.
