More friends for Cristiano, the new Portugal star that would sign for Al Nassr and is not Bruno Fernandes

Cristiano Ronaldo hopes that Al Nassr makes some important signings this summer in order to be competitive next season.

Al Nassr was close to winning silverware this past season, but Al Hilal took control in Saudi Arabia. Ronaldo hopes that the club will look for players who are good and experienced. CR7 would also like players he is familiar with at Al Nassr. The latest player to be linked to a move to Al Nassr is FC Porto defender Pepe. His contract will expire on June 30th, and he will become a free agent.

A Bola reports that Pepe will leave FC Porto, and he already has a proposal from Al Nassr. Pepe will not renew his contract with FC Porto, where he has been since 2019. Pepe is currently 41 years old, but he showed great levels in Europe with Porto and is called up for the Portuguese national team for the EUROS 2024.

The teammate Pepe played with the most throughout his career was Cristiano Ronaldo. They play a total of 343 matches together at Real Madrid and the Portuguese national team combined. Pepe and Ronaldo played 241 matches together at Real Madrid, with a joint goal participation of eight goals. The two played together at the Spanish club for over 19,700 minutes from 2009 to 2017.

Pepe and Ronaldo played 102 matches together on the Portuguese national team throughout the years. The two played in the EUROS 2016, where they won the European Championship for the first time in the country’s history. Together, they played four World Cups with the Portuguese national team, from the 2010 World Cup to the 2022 World Cup. EUROS 2024 may be the last tournament the two will play for the Portuguese national team.

The man who could bring Pepe to Al Nassr with Cristiano Ronaldo

Al Nassr has appointed Fernando Hierro as the club’s new sporting director. The former Real Madrid defender wants to sign Nacho Fernandez from Real Madrid, who is also Ronaldo’s former teammate. Al Nassr is interested in Pepe, Raphael Varane, and Casemiro; all are former teammates of CR7.
