BREAKING: 23 year Old Arsenal Star In Tears As He Reveals Mikel Arteta’s Betrayal Despite Playing His Hearts Out To Save Arteta’s Job

Mikel Arteta is pushing and trying to find those extra inches as Arsenal faltered in the Premier League title again.

Last season, Arsenal just completely collapsed, but this time around, they pushed Manchester City to the final day of the season.

Declan Rice was signed last summer for a club-record transfer and he made a huge difference, including helping the team win four points off their title rivals.

With the 2024 summer transfer set to re-open next month, Arsenal might have to go down a similar road to try and find that extra yard to become champions.

But this time around, it won’t be as easy because of Arsenal’s heavy spending over several years and it will now require the books to be balanced.

That’s where everyone looks towards the current crop of players and who Arteta can afford to let go. One name who the boyhood Arsenal fan touched upon was Emile Smith Rowe and how it would be ‘sad to see him leave’ despite him once ’saving’ his manager’s job alongside Bukayo Saka.

The 23-year-old has been hit with injuries during the past few years and also found his game time reduced, with only 345 minutes of Premier League football played this term and 161 the previous campaign.

But his sale could then open the door for the club to bring in those proven first-team players that will finally help them win the title.

Emile Smith Rowe to leave Arsenal?

“It might be also, not balancing the books, but also about profit and Arsenal selling him,” said Bent.

“You are right, he had that season when he and Saka almost saved Arteta’s job. Arteta was struggling and them two were brilliant. But you get 100% profit from Emile Smith Rowe.

“It would be sad to see him leave. As a young kid coming through, I loved watching him play for Arsenal, but again, if he is not going to get many opportunities, then he needs to play.”

The last time Smith Rowe started and played regularly was during the 2021/22 season and he netted ten Premier League goals.

The three-cap England star has a natural ability to carry the ball forward, play on the left or as a number ten.

He certainly has goals in him, but put players of his ilk around him, with a target man, and then he will click and connect with them all.

In truth, it’s probably the right time for Smith Rowe to leave the Emirates and pick up his career elsewhere because there will be plenty of admirers.
