Chelsea’s new transfer

Chelsea is actively pursuing several transfer targets as the new Premier League season approaches. The club is focused on signing a new goalkeeper, with Filip Jorgensen of Villarreal identified as a potential candidate. Additionally, Chelsea remains in the race to secure Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, who is also being eyed by PSG and Barcelona.

In defense, Trevoh Chalobah has been omitted from Chelsea’s pre-season tour of the United States, leading to speculation about his future. The 25-year-old defender is reportedly valued at around £25 million and could be sold if he decides to leave Stamford Bridge. Manchester United has shown interest in Chalobah as a potential replacement should they sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka or struggle to sign their other targets.

Chelsea’s manager Enzo Maresca has expressed regret over the decision to leave Chalobah out of the pre-season squad, highlighting the defender’s desire to fight for his place in the team. The club’s willingness to sell Chalobah could influence their transfer strategy as they look to strengthen their squad.

Furthermore, Chelsea is linked with a move for Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins, who is seen as a potential addition to their attacking options. Watkins has had a strong season and could provide valuable depth for the Blues if a move materializes.
