However, the situation is complicated by the fact that we acquired both Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic just a year ago, making it challenging to see how everything will fit together.
According to The Athletic, there is a possibility that Petrovic could be sold to open up space. They highlight that his impressive performances last season, especially after taking over from the injured Sanchez, mean there’s a “good chance” we could sell him at a profit. We bought him for €16 million plus €2 million in add-ons, and there’s potential to make a financial gain next summer.
