Manchester United player ratings as Mason Mount and Andre Onana good vs Arsenal

Manchester United faced a 2-1 loss to Arsenal in a pre-season friendly held in California, and they also encountered a few injury concerns during the match.

 

United initially took the lead at SoFi Stadium with a goal from Rasmus Hojlund, but the Danish forward was soon substituted due to injury, and Leny Yoro followed him off the pitch before halftime. Arsenal equalized with a goal from Gabriel Jesus in the first half.

 

Erik ten Hag made 10 substitutions at the break, but Arsenal secured a late victory with a goal from Gabriel Martinelli before the teams participated in a penalty shootout that had no significant impact. Here’s how the United players were rated:
