Liverpool have been informed that they will need to offer £50 million to acquire Juventus player Gleison Bremer, according to sources speaking to Football Insider.
The 27-year-old has emerged as a key target for Liverpool as they focus on strengthening their defense early in the summer transfer window. Bremer, who has excelled in Serie A since his move from Torino to Juventus four years ago, is a standout performer.
Football Insider also disclosed on Monday (22 July) that Liverpool and Aston Villa are competing for Juventus’ promising talent Dean Huijsen. At 19, Huijsen is regarded as a “future prospect” by Liverpool’s transfer team, who are looking to add another defender this summer.
Bremer, valued at £50 million, and Inacio are Liverpool’s primary targets. Although Marc Guehi was previously considered due to ongoing interest, Football Insider reported on Tuesday (23 July) that Liverpool has been deterred by Crystal Palace’s £70 million asking price.
