Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has been rumored to be moving away from the team this summer.
Saudi Arabian teams are interested in acquiring the Dutch international, and the 33-year-old is reportedly open to such a transfer.
As per TEAMtalk, van Dijk is considering the option of joining the Saudi Pro League and has already allowed his potential new clubs to negotiate with Liverpool.
The report adds that Liverpool is asking for approximately £46.3 million to transfer the 33-year-old center-back. It remains unclear if the Saudi club is willing to meet this price. Van Dijk, a top defender in the Premier League, could be a valuable addition.
However, since van Dijk’s contract with Liverpool expires next summer, PIF is aiming to secure him at a lower cost. They are prepared to abandon the deal if Liverpool does not reduce their asking price.
