Breaking: Huge Mohamed Salah update tonight

Liverpool is preparing for a formal offer from Saudi Arabia for Mohamed Salah, with a summer transfer still very much on the table, according to sources cited by Football Insider.

Saudi Pro League teams are currently finalizing their budgets in anticipation of a surge in late-window transfers. This activity is expected to impact various major leagues worldwide, including the Premier League, potentially influencing events at Anfield in the coming weeks.

Reports suggest Liverpool may struggle to turn down an offer of around £100 million for the 32-year-old Salah during this transfer window. It is also noted that a potentially life-changing contract might not be available for Salah next year, which could keep the deal viable until the August 31 deadline.

Football Insider also mentioned that Liverpool plans to discuss Salah’s future as they look to strengthen their squad for the new season under Arne Slot.

Salah is entering the final year of his contract, putting pressure on Liverpool to either sell him or renegotiate terms.

Since joining Liverpool in 2017, Salah has been a key player, making 349 appearances, scoring 211 goals, and providing 89 assists. His contribution was pivotal last season, with 25 goals in 44 matches, making him hard to replace.

In response, Crystal Palace is considering initiating contract talks to ward off potential interest in Salah this month.
