Chelsea is the newest team to be connected with Sancho, who was on loan at Borussia Dortmund for the latter part of last season following a significant disagreement with Ten Hag.
“This season will be a test of who is the strongest, but I can only include 20 players in the squad,” Ten Hag remarked. “Jadon had an ear infection last week and wasn’t fully fit. While he was available to play, I have to make decisions and opted for other players on the bench.
“However, this situation can and will change throughout the season. It might be frustrating for the player, but the focus is on the team and the club.”
