Ilkay Gündogan is looking to end his tenure at FC Barcelona. The German midfielder has made it clear to the coaching staff and the sporting department that he wants to reach an agreement for his departure before the current summer transfer window closes.

Gündogan is in demand, with Galatasaray’s president expressing a long-standing interest in signing him. Recently, Fenerbahçe, managed by José Mourinho, has also shown interest, indicating that they would pursue the move if possible. Additionally, various representatives from Saudi Arabia have been exploring Gündogan’s interest in moving there over the past year.
