Ten Hag is k!lling our beautiful game… He’s signing all the players I have instructed Liverpool to sign before I left but this very last one I won’t watch him get the deal done, something must be done now”: Former Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp reacts to Man united latest transfer news, report Ten Hag to FIFA for agreeing personal terms to sign Liverpool top target

Former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has voiced his displeasure regarding Manchester United’s recent transfer maneuvers, alleging that Erik ten Hag is pursuing players he had earlier suggested to Liverpool. Though Klopp has left Liverpool, he remains concerned about the team’s welfare and is particularly aggrieved by recent transfer news. He has hinted that measures might be taken against Ten Hag, including potentially reporting him to FIFA for attempting to acquire one of Liverpool’s key targets.

Manchester United is keen on signing a new defensive midfielder before the transfer window closes, with Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte being their main target. However, PSG’s £51 million asking price has been a major obstacle. Despite this, Manchester United remains committed to securing Ugarte and is considering alternative strategies, such as a loan deal with a future obligation to buy.

Ongoing negotiations between Manchester United and PSG involve super-agent Jorge Mendes. Ugarte, described as “tireless” by PSG’s official site, is enthusiastic about the move to Old Trafford and has already agreed to personal terms for a long-term contract. United’s focus is firmly on Ugarte, and despite challenges in persuading PSG to lower their asking price, they are now considering a loan arrangement with a compulsory buy option, which could be more appealing to PSG.

PSG, dealing with Gonçalo Ramos’s recent ankle injury, is seeking a top striker before the transfer window closes. While PSG has the financial capacity to secure a premier forward, they might first need to offload Ugarte to adhere to Financial Fair Play regulations.

From Manchester United’s viewpoint, the proposed deal could be attractive to PSG, offering a significant fee for Ugarte in the upcoming summer transfer window. Additionally, PSG’s acquisition of João Neves from Benfica may make them more receptive to United’s offer. Klopp’s frustration underscores the competitive tension between Liverpool and Manchester United over similar talent, while United remains focused on their pursuit of Ugarte, facing obstacles but showing persistence.
