Hansi Flick will not count on him and the player packs his bags and leaves Barcelona

Hansi Flick has decided not to rely on Alex Valle, prompting the player to pack up and depart from Barcelona.

Barcelona is still working to improve its financial standing in hopes of securing one or two top-tier signings to enhance the squad for the upcoming season. Although Barcelona managed to finalize a deal for Spanish international and Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo, his registration has been delayed due to salary cap issues. To resolve this, Barcelona must sell one or more players.

Spanish newspaper El Nacional reports that Barcelona is adjusting its roster for the new season, and Alex Valle is among those affected by these changes. After returning from a loan spell at Levante, Valle received a definitive message from Hansi Flick that he will not be part of the team this season. As a result, Valle is now seeking a new opportunity, which is likely to be with Celtic Glasgow.

Despite a promising pre-season, where Valle even played as a right-back during the US tour, his situation at Barcelona remained precarious. Flick’s decision to not feature him in the initial league matches further complicated his position. Recognizing the need for regular playing time for Valle’s development, Barcelona arranged a loan to Celtic Glasgow, who will cover his entire salary during this period.

The newspaper concluded that although Valle has been one of the most promising talents from La Masia, his versatility and potential have not been enough to secure a place in the first team. With competition for spots and Flick’s preference for other players, Valle’s departure from Camp Nou is imminent.
