Arsenal is more inclined to sign Sterling rather than Coman. With a busy schedule and the need to manage Bukayo Saka’s workload, they require a dependable backup.
Reiss Nelson, who has come off the bench over the past year, has not been convincing, so Arsenal seeks a more reliable replacement for Saka.
While both Sterling and Coman are viable options, Arteta’s strong relationship with Sterling and his familiarity with Arsenal’s playing style make him the preferred choice. Sterling is more likely to be signed if he accepts a significant pay cut, as Coman has struggled with injuries, missing 25 games last season.
Given Arsenal’s recent issues with Gabriel Jesus’ injuries, they prefer not to add another player with a questionable injury record.
