Perez wa.rns Ancelotti against leaving this player on the bench again

Club president Florentino Perez has issued a strong caution to coach Carlo Ancelotti regarding the skilled Real Madrid player who Ancelotti has consistently overlooked, despite the significant impact he makes as a substitute. Perez’s frustration was clear, as he disapproved of Ancelotti’s persistent decision to keep this player on the bench, highlighting his dissatisfaction with what he sees as an unfair choice.

According to the Spanish newspaper Defensa Central, Perez expressed his anger, stating, “I do not want to see such a brilliant player benched again. He changes the dynamics of the team when he plays, and this is my final warning.” The paper noted that Perez urged Ancelotti not to sideline Moroccan player Brahim Diaz again, emphasizing that Diaz’s skills and vision surpass those of many of Real Madrid’s attacking players.

Diaz returned to Real Madrid last season after several successful years with AC Milan, where he helped lead the team to the Serie A title. However, since his return, he has seen limited playing time, a situation that has displeased the club’s leadership. Perez’s comments indicate his increasing frustration with Ancelotti, who has favored a more experienced lineup recently. Perez’s warning suggests he expects Diaz to be integrated into the team more swiftly, given the investment in him.

For Brahim Diaz, the public endorsement from Perez is a double-edged sword. It reinforces the club’s confidence in his abilities but also places him under added pressure to excel when given the chance. As the season continues, it will be crucial to watch whether Ancelotti will respond to this pressure by giving Diaz more opportunities or maintain his current approach. The impact of Perez’s warning on the team dynamics remains to be seen.
