BREAKING NEWS: Coming Live From Fabrizio Romano, Deadline Deal HERE WE GO! Arsenal And Chelsea Agrees Deal For Raheem Sterling As Player Sets For Medical. The First English Player To Play For Four Top Flight Teams In The Premier League.

David Ornstein has disclosed that Arsenal is actively seeking a loan arrangement for Raheem Sterling, with insider Ben Jacobs noting that Sterling is eager to make the move. Chelsea has informed Sterling that his future with the club is over, and manager Enzo Maresca has clearly stated that he does not want Sterling in his squad.

With Sterling’s experience of 379 Premier League appearances, 123 goals, and 62 assists, he is now looking for a new team. Having previously played for Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool, his domestic options are limited. Manchester United and Arsenal have been mentioned as potential destinations since Maresca’s decision to omit him from his plans. Although initial reports indicated that a move to Arsenal was unlikely despite Mikel Arteta’s interest, current information suggests otherwise.

Ornstein’s report from The Athletic indicates that Arsenal is in talks with Chelsea about a possible loan for Sterling. The club is reportedly focused on finalizing the deal and is optimistic about reaching an agreement on personal terms. Although Sterling’s high wage at Chelsea may require Arsenal to cover a loan fee, they are reportedly prepared to consider this.

Ben Jacobs adds that Sterling is excited about the prospect of joining Arsenal, especially due to his positive relationship with Arteta. The winger is reportedly ready to undergo a medical once the deal is finalized, suggesting that the transfer could be concluded swiftly. Given these factors, it is highly likely that Sterling could become an Arsenal player before the transfer window closes.
