Two changes – Man Utd’s strongest 4-2-3-1 XI against Liverpool

The Merseysiders are the only Premier League team yet to allow a goal. Will Erik ten Hag’s squad alter that? Time will tell.

Regarding the team updates, the Dutch coach is anticipated to make a few adjustments to the lineup from their recent defeat to the Seagulls.

Mason Mount, who plays for England, is sidelined with an injury that will keep him out for several weeks. He played in the No.10 role previously, so with him absent, captain Bruno Fernandes will need to occupy his usual CAM spot behind the forward.

New recruit Joshua Zirkzee, who scored the decisive goal in the opening league match against Fulham, is expected to make his first start for Manchester United against Liverpool.

On the wings, Marcus Rashford and Amad Diallo, who both scored against Brighton, should be included in the starting XI.

Matthijs de Ligt will likely replace Harry Maguire, also making his debut start for the Red Devils. The Dutch international is expected to partner Lisandro Martinez in central defense, in front of goalkeeper André Onana. Yoro remains unavailable.

Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui are set to keep their full-back positions for Manchester United against Liverpool.

In midfield, new signing Manuel Ugarte is unavailable for the match against the Anfield club, so Mainoo and Casemiro are likely to be included in the starting lineup once more.

Predicted Manchester United starting XI vs Liverpool:

Onana, Mazraoui, De Ligt, Martinez, Dalot, Casemiro, Mainoo, Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford, Zirkzee.
