Unseen footage of what Trent Alexander-Arnold said to the camera after Liverpool win has got everyone talking

Liverpool delivered a commanding performance at Old Trafford, defeating Manchester United 3-0.

What Trent Alexander-Arnold mentioned to the camera following Liverpool’s victory over Manchester United has garnered attention and sparked conversation among fans.

On Sunday afternoon, Liverpool effortlessly overcame Manchester United at Old Trafford, with Luis Diaz scoring twice and Mohamed Salah adding another goal to secure a 3-0 triumph for the visitors.

It was another disappointing day for Erik ten Hag, whose position is under scrutiny as United languishes in 14th place in the Premier League standings.

Things could have been worse for United, as Alexander-Arnold had a goal disallowed by VAR within the first 10 minutes.

Alexander-Arnold converted Diaz’s cross and emulated Steven Gerrard by kissing the camera during his celebration, but was left frustrated when Salah was deemed offside in the lead-up.

Alexander-Arnold was eventually substituted in the 76th minute with the scoreline at 3-0.

After the match ended, the Liverpool vice-captain acknowledged the away fans and seemed to say: “Next time, I’m coming back,” to the camera.

Responses on social media included comments like: “Trent said he’s returning to Old Trafford to repeat the celebration. Sign that contract, brother.”

Another fan tweeted: “’I’m coming back,’ Trent has unfinished business with the cameraman. He’s definitely signing that contract.”

A third supporter remarked: “Next time, I’m coming back. He’s not going anywhere.”

Another wrote: “If he’s referring to kissing the camera after scoring, he’s effectively confirming he WILL sign a new contract.”

As the 2024/25 season approaches, the futures of Alexander-Arnold, Salah, and Virgil van Dijk remain uncertain, with all their contracts set to expire next summer.

After the match, Salah made a significant revelation, stating: “You know this is my last year at the club. I just want to enjoy it. It’s not up to me, but no one at the club has spoken to me.”
