Bayern Munich is reportedly facing challenges in negotiating a new deal with star player Jamal Musiala, who has attracted interest from leading European teams such as Liverpool and Manchester United.
Although Musiala’s current contract with Bayern extends until 2026, the club is eager to secure his future due to his recent exceptional performances. Reports indicate that Liverpool’s interest is increasing, and the Daily Mirror also notes that Manchester United is in pursuit of Musiala, hinting at a potential transfer tussle if he does not renew his contract with Bayern soon. Bayern’s Max Eberl has acknowledged the situation could be “difficult,” yet manageable. In a conversation with Sport1, Eberl emphasized Musiala’s vital role at Bayern, noting: “It’s challenging, but not impossible – Jamal is aware of what Bayern Munich offers. He developed here and has become a top player. Negotiations are heating up. We are highly ambitious, and he knows we are aiming for titles.”
Musiala, who started his career at Chelsea’s academy before joining Bayern, might find the Premier League’s competitive nature appealing. The chance to further establish himself in England, especially with prominent clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United interested, could be an enticing prospect for him.
