Flick is angry with the Barcelona star due to his poor performance and warned him of losing his place in the starting lineup

Hansi Flick expressed his deep disappointment with the performance of certain Barcelona players following the team’s defeat to Monaco in an official match.

There were high hopes for Barcelona’s Champions League campaign after securing five consecutive wins in La Liga, but the situation quickly deteriorated. The team conceded an early goal and faced the unexpected red card for Eric Garcia.

According to reports from El Nacional, Flick acknowledged that he had no excuses but voiced his frustration with the lackluster performances of some players, who appeared disengaged.

Rafinha Diaz stood out as a prime example, failing to deliver at a crucial level and not contributing effectively to the attack. While he helped defensively, his overall impact was minimal. The Brazilian had previously been a key player, starting the season strong with goals, but his form has dipped recently, particularly in matches against Monaco and Girona.

This decline has raised concerns for Flick, who demands full commitment from all players, especially given the injuries affecting key squad members. Rafinha risks losing his starting position if he cannot return to his earlier form, and Flick made it clear in the locker room after the match that he would not hesitate to make difficult decisions regarding the lineup.
