**Manchester United Supporters Disappointed by Erik ten Hag’s Key Substitution in Crystal Palace Draw**
Fans of Manchester United are frustrated with a critical decision made by manager Erik ten Hag that they feel impacted the result of the match against Crystal Palace. The Red Devils missed the chance to achieve consecutive Premier League wins, settling for a 0-0 draw against a determined Palace team at Selhurst Park on Saturday evening.

In a bid to shift the momentum, Ten Hag made several substitutions in the second half, bringing on Marcus Rashford, Manuel Ugarte, and Rasmus Højlund for Joshua Zirkzee, Christian Eriksen, and Amad Diallo.
However, the choice to replace Zirkzee was met with criticism from fans, who expressed their discontent on social media.
One supporter noted, “Taking off Zirkzee disrupted our flow… we lost that connection immediately.” Another remarked, “Zirkzee shouldn’t have been substituted… even Amad was creating chances. The substitutions were wrong.”
A frustrated fan tweeted, “Zirkzee needed to stay on; the game shifted when he left,” while another added, “The substitutions were ineffective. Creative players like Zirkzee, Amad, and Eriksen, who facilitate quick ball movement, were replaced by Rashford, Højlund, and Ugarte.”
A fifth fan said, “Removing Zirkzee and Amad has effectively stifled our attack!” Another commented, “Zirkzee’s substitution was a huge mistake. He links play and keeps attacks alive without losing possession, which is vital against a deep defense.”
Following the match, former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder Jamie Redknapp shared his thoughts on Sky Sports, stating: “When you dominate like that, you must make it count. The substitutions fell short, and United will feel let down.”
