I’m sorry to say this but Arteta needs to get rid of Him before He will cause another pains for Arsenal fans, I’m saying this because Arteta is my best friend and I don’t want anything that will jeopardize His Happiness”, Pep Guardiola warns Mikel Arteta to put £50m underperforming Arsenal star on sale by January or He might not even end up in the Top 4 race this season

I regret to mention this, but Arteta should consider selling him before he causes more frustration for Arsenal fans. I say this because Arteta is my close friend, and I don’t want anything to threaten his happiness. Pep Guardiola cautions Mikel Arteta to put the £50m underperforming Arsenal player up for sale by January or risk missing out on the Top 4 this season.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta seems to have lost confidence in Gabriel Jesus, as rumors suggest he might reignite interest in one of Europe’s most coveted strikers. The Brazilian has yet to score in eight club appearances this season, continuing his disappointing record with Arsenal.

When he joined from Manchester City for £45 million in the summer of 2022, Arsenal fans regarded him as a vital addition, but he has only netted 19 goals in 77 games since then.

His tenure in north London has also been marred by injuries, having already missed two weeks of this season due to a hamstring issue.

Last summer, his future at Arsenal appeared uncertain, with the club linked to players like Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyokores, and Benjamin Sesko. However, a significant striker signing never happened, as Arteta chose to enhance other areas by bringing in Riccardo Calafiori and Mikel Merino.

Interest in Sesko, in particular, diminished in June after he signed a new contract with Red Bull Leipzig, extending his deal until 2029. He also had a disappointing Euro 2024, failing to score in any of his four matches.

Nonetheless, the 21-year-old has started this season strongly, netting six goals, including two in the Champions League against Juventus. His impressive form seems to have encouraged Arteta to consider a bid in 2025.

According to TEAMtalk, discussions between the two clubs have begun, and an agreement is in place. Despite Sesko’s new contract, it reportedly includes a £55m release clause, and the Premier League club has been informed they can prioritize talks once that fee is met.

Sesko also aligns well with Arteta’s current vision at Arsenal. The Spaniard has focused on younger signings, with the striker being viewed as a future star at both the club and international level.
