English Premier League (EPL) news suggests that Jurgen Klopp is set to recruit a former Manchester City attacker as a replacement for Mohamed Salah.

Despite multiple bids for the Egyptian international, Liverpool consistently turned them down. However, after Liverpool rejected a £150 million offer from Al-Ittihad, it is anticipated that they will return in the new year with an even higher bid.

Klopp has already identified Sane as the potential successor to Salah, anticipating Salah’s departure from Liverpool.

Liverpool is prepared to surpass its own transfer record, which currently stands at the £85 million spent on Darwin Nunez, to secure Sane from Bayern Munich.

Sane joined Bayern Munich in 2020 for £54.8 million from Manchester City and is currently in his fourth season with the club.
