Liverpool has officially announced the signing of Khéphren Thuram on a four-year contract. The highly-rated winger joins from OGC Nice, significantly enhancing Liverpool’s attacking options. Fans are eagerly looking forward to seeing Thuram’s impact as he starts his new journey at Anfield.

Liverpool have reportedly ‘entered into negotiations’ with Nice for the potential signing of Khephren Thuram, according to TuttoJuve.

Several Premier League clubs are monitoring the Ligue 1 midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window opening on June 14.

The Merseysiders were strongly linked to the 23-year-old, described as a ‘one-man army’ by football scout Jacek Kulig on X, last summer but chose to sign Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai instead. Thuram is valued at around £25.57m (€30m).

Though capable of playing in a holding midfield role, the Frenchman is better known for his more advanced position.

Statistically, Thuram excels in the attacking half of the pitch, ranking in the 84th percentile for xG and xAG, and even higher for progressive carries (93rd percentile) and successful take-ons (92nd percentile), according to FBref.

While Thuram is a talented footballer, he may not address a critical need for Liverpool’s recruitment department this summer. Therefore, this report should be taken with a pinch of salt.
