Man Utd fans convinced they’ve spotted major summer transfer clue in latest club announcement

Manchester United fans think they have spotted a transfer clue in the unveiling of the away kit for the new season.

On Thursday morning, United unveiled their new away kit for the 2024/25 season. A statement announced: “Today, adidas introduces Manchester United’s latest away kit, featuring an all-over embossed M design inspired by the city the club proudly represents.

“The royal blue pattern, textured and applied in repeated circular motifs on a navy-blue background, pays tribute to the 3D monograms often found on Manchester United kits from three decades ago.”

The prices for the new kit vary from £55 to £120 and are available for purchase at the United store and on the Adidas website.

Fans on social media reacted to the release of the new kit, speculating that a player previously linked with a transfer might remain at the club after being seen in promotional material.

One fan commented, “AWB in the kit photos! Big dubs. Hopefully he stays.”

Another tweeted, “I like how Wan Bissaka is featuring in stuff lately.”

A third fan added, “Wan Bissaka as the face of Manchester United’s new kit. Isn’t he leaving?”

These reactions suggest optimism among fans regarding the player’s potential continuation with Manchester United, spurred by his appearance in the promotional campaign.

In recent weeks, there have been rumors linking full-back Wan Bissaka with clubs such as West Ham United and Crystal Palace. However, no deal has been finalized, leaving the 26-year-old potentially staying at Old Trafford.

Currently, Manchester United are preparing to face Arsenal at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California this weekend. Following that, they have upcoming matches against Real Betis and Liverpool, culminating in the FA Community Shield against Manchester City at Wembley on August 10th.
