The club is considering signing Hermoso, a 29-year-old Spanish defender who previously played for Atletico Madrid and is known for his versatility as both a center-back and left-back. He is seeking a three-year deal with a salary of €6 million per year. Initial discussions are underway, but it is uncertain if a deal will materialize. Hermoso, who was part of Atletico’s La Liga-winning team in 2020/21, has also been approached by Aston Villa and West Ham, adding to the competition for his signature.
