Liverpool manager Arne Slot has reportedly agreed to sign a £35 million world-class goalkeeper as a replacement for Alisson Becker, finalizing the club’s summer transfer plans.

Liverpool are looking to acquire Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia this summer and are believed to have reached a preliminary agreement to bring the goalkeeper to Anfield.

The 21-cap Georgian international has been closely linked with a Premier League move, and Liverpool are working on finalizing his transfer.

As reported by HITC, the Reds have established an initial deal for Mamardashvili to join the club in the summer of 2025.

With Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker reportedly drawing interest from Saudi Arabian teams, the club is planning for a possible replacement.

Mamardashvili, who has stood out in La Liga, could become a significant long-term asset for Liverpool.

At 23, Mamardashvili would likely be excited about the chance to join a prestigious club like Liverpool and compete for major titles.

His transfer to Liverpool is scheduled for 2025, and the report suggests he will remain with Valencia until next summer.

Due to regulations preventing Liverpool from signing him and loaning him to another Premier League club within the same summer, Valencia will loan him to Bournemouth for the upcoming season.

The report also notes that Liverpool will pay £30 million for the goalkeeper, with Bournemouth covering an additional £4 million as a loan fee.

It appears that all involved parties are content with the arrangement, and it will be interesting to see if the deal is finalized soon.

Mamardashvili is expected to grow with further coaching and experience, and it will be intriguing to see if he can develop into a top-class goalkeeper like Alisson.

The Brazilian has been exceptional since joining Liverpool, making him the top goalkeeper in the league.

Replacing him will be a major task, but the Georgian international certainly possesses the talent and potential to succeed.
