HERE WE GO: Player spotted in Manchester as he arrives to complete his Man United’s move today, Old Club already confirmed his exit

Manchester United is closing in on securing their top midfield target for the summer, Manuel Ugarte, with negotiations approaching their final stages.

Reports suggest that the Uruguayan international is likely to complete his move to Manchester United before the transfer window closes on August 30. Spanish outlet *Sport* indicates that Paris Saint-Germain’s coach, Luis Enrique, does not consider Ugarte part of his plans, facilitating the player’s potential transfer to the Red Devils.

French publication *L’Equipe* reports that the 23-year-old, known for his play-breaking abilities, is ready to travel to England to finalize his move to Old Trafford. He is reportedly awaiting the final confirmation from his agent, Jorge Mendes.

In the UK, *Manchester Evening News* confirms that Ugarte has already agreed terms with Manchester United, and the transfer is nearing completion with both sides close to finalizing the deal.

Ugarte, formerly of Sporting CP, was notably absent from PSG’s squad for their opening Ligue 1 match and was again left out during their recent 6-0 victory over Montpellier. These exclusions have intensified speculation about his imminent departure from PSG.

With Ugarte’s arrival, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will strengthen his squad, wrapping up what has been an active and successful transfer window for the club. The owners’ strong backing of Ten Hag, despite a challenging previous season, highlights their commitment to restoring United’s success.

United has already started their Premier League campaign with a win over Fulham and will face Brighton in today’s early match. The addition of Ugarte could provide the final boost Ten Hag needs to elevate the team’s performance.
