Cole Palmer scored a spectacular goal in Chelsea’s exciting Premier League match against Wolves.

 

On Sunday, Chelsea made their way to the Midlands for their second Premier League fixture of the season, and it proved to be a thrilling encounter.

 

The first half was a whirlwind of action, starting with Chelsea taking the lead within 90 seconds thanks to a header from Nicolas Jackson.

 

Wolves responded with Matheus Cunha equalizing just before the 30-minute mark, following a superb run by Liverpool target Rayan Aït-Nouri. However, Palmer’s remarkable finish soon restored Chelsea’s advantage.

 

Chelsea’s goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez, initiated a counter-attack with a superb long pass to Nicolas Jackson, who flicked the ball over a defender’s head into Palmer’s path.

 

Seeing Wolves’ goalkeeper Jose Sa off his line, the England international executed a first-time curling shot that arced over the keeper and into the net.

 

Despite being only the second match of the season, this goal is already a strong contender for goal of the season.

 

Chelsea’s lead was brief, as Jørgen Strand Larsen equalized just before halftime, making it 2-2.

 

The second half continued at the same frenetic pace as the first, with Wolves being caught off guard when Noni Madueke, much to the displeasure of Wolverhampton fans, scored shortly after the restart to put Chelsea ahead 3-2.
