A deal has been finalized that will have the Valencia goalkeeper spending the upcoming season in Spain before officially transitioning to Anfield next summer.
The Premier League team will pay €30 million plus an additional €5 million in bonuses, with the 23-year-old returning to La Liga on loan and anticipated to vie for a position in the following season.
In the interim, Alisson will continue as the club’s undisputed first-choice goalkeeper, with Caoimhin Kelleher, who has been the backup goalkeeper in recent years, serving as the secondary option.
