Fans of FC25 have noticed an important detail regarding Jadon Sancho’s in-game representation since the early access launch of the game. In less than a week, players will fully experience the latest edition of the EA SPORTS FC series, which releases on September 27.
Those who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition have already been playing since September 20, while some streamers received early access even before that date.
This year’s edition introduces numerous new features, including a five-a-side mode available in Kick Off, Pro Clubs, Career mode, and Ultimate Team. The game’s menus have undergone a significant redesign, offering a fresh look across all modes. As usual, new face scans have been added for top players, with Kobbie Mainoo receiving a scan for the first time.
However, it’s not a new character model that has drawn attention; instead, fans have noted a key detail in Sancho’s likeness. The recently signed Chelsea loanee retains the same character design as in previous editions, but EA had to alter his tattoos for copyright reasons.
Sancho’s unique tattoo sleeve, featuring characters like Sonic the Hedgehog, Spider-Man, and The Simpsons, is not accurately represented in FC25. Instead, his in-game character displays only blacked-out outlines of these tattoos.
Despite a resurgence in form during his loan at Borussia Dortmund last season, Sancho’s rating remains at 82 in FC25. His rating once peaked at 87 after returning to England, but following three lackluster seasons, the winger now faces pressure to prove himself.
