Press reports indicate that a Real Madrid star is nearing a move to the Saudi League, specifically to the Saudi Al-Ittihad team this summer. The management at Saudi Al-Ittihad is eager to make significant deals to address last season’s shortcomings and aim for a return to the top, following a disappointing fifth-place finish in the league.
Saudi Al-Ittihad is particularly interested in acquiring German defender Antonio Rudiger to bolster its defense for the upcoming season. Despite the challenge of negotiating his release from Real Madrid, where he is a key defensive player under coach Carlo Ancelotti, the club is keen to finalize Rudiger’s transfer, pending approval from his agent, according to the Spanish program “Chiringuito.”
The program reported that Antonio Rudiger could earn between 15 and 20 million euros per season if he agrees to join Al-Ittihad Club. At 31 years old, Rudiger signed with Real Madrid in the summer of 2022 from Chelsea, and his current contract with the club runs until June 2026.
Rudiger delivered an impressive performance for Real Madrid last season, helping the team secure three titles: the Spanish Super Cup in January, as well as the Spanish League and Champions League titles.
