Diario SPORT reports that Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski and Ilkay Gundogan both incurred injuries during the game and were not fully fit when they exited the pitch. Hansi Flick was compelled to substitute both players in the second half.
Lewandowski hurt his wrist after an awkward fall following a tackle. Though he played for over an hour, he appeared distressed and pained when he was substituted.
